Lisa Pinamonti Kress

Parent Member, 2013
Primary office:

Like many parents, I put my son on the waiting list three months after he was born and he started in the Turtle Room in August 2009. My youngest son started in August 2011. My boys now attend Langston Hughes Elementary and the Hilltop van picks them up for the after-school program in the Jayhawk Room.

I have worked at the University of Kansas since 1999, serving as Director of Admissions since 2002. I know the importance of education, and Hilltop provides a crucial foundation for children’s love of learning. Hilltop continues to teach and prepare not only my children, but all children who attend. I am part of the Board to support the teachers and administration so that Hilltop continues to be the best child development center. I am a parent member, currently serving as chair of the Teacher Support Committee and member of the Communications Planning Committee.

Outside of work, my boys keep me busy with baseball, basketball and Cub Scouts. I try to find time to Jazzercise whenever possible.
