I am excited to serve on the Hilltop Board and appreciate the opportunity.  I served as a parent representative on the Hilltop Strategic Planning Committee in 2015-16, and hope to contribute to Hilltop’s ongoing success.  I am a licensed masters level social worker and am currently the Director of Field Education for the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare, working with approximately 350 social work student interns each academic year.  I also work as a private consultant and trainer on strategic planning, grant writing, adult learning, and other organizational needs.  In the past, I have served as the Director, as well as the Assistant Director, of the Kansas Department of Corrections Office of Victim Services.  I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Kansas State University and my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas.
