Jennifer Wamelink

KU Liaison
Primary office:

I serve as a University of Kansas liaison representative on the Hilltop Board in my role as Associate Vice Provost for Student Affairs. I’ve been at KU for 20 years, working in KU Student Housing until January 2016. In my Student Affairs role, I work with five departments, including Hilltop. I am passionate about student wellness, as well as initiatives and resources that promote student access and successful completion.

I am also a Hilltop parent. My daughter is in the Bobcat Room. She’s been a Cottontail and a Prairie Dog, and she was in the Sunflower Room in its final year as a kindergarten classroom.

When I am not working or driving my daughter to and from activities and friends, I can be found teaching or working out at Body Boutique, riding bikes or walking with my family, or reading a good book.
