Marc White

Past President
Parent Member 2017
Primary office:

I have two children attending Hilltop. Brock started in the Salamander Room and is now a Dragonfly. Lyla started in the Turtle Room and is now a Tree Frog. In 2016-2017, I was elected to the Board of Directors as a parent member, hoping to give back to Hilltop for doing so much for our children in preparing them for a lifetime of learning and success. I currently serve as a member of the Finance Committee.

I received bachelor's degrees in history and French from the University of Kansas in 1992. After graduating from Mount Oread, I studied in Besancon, France, for a year through the Office of Study Abroad before attending law school at Washburn University in Topeka.

After graduating with honors from Washburn University School of Law in 1996, I joined the State of Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services as a staff attorney in the child support enforcement program. In 2002, I was appointed District Court Trustee for the Third Judicial District of Kansas and continue in that capacity today.

I am a past board member of the United Way Fatherhood Action Team of Topeka as well as a past president of the Kansas Child Support Enforcement Association. I have and continue to devote time speaking to groups of fathers at the Topeka Juvenile Correctional Facility, the Central Park Community Center, and the Topeka Rescue Mission about the importance fathers' involvement in their children’s lives.
